Blurring the line between interior and exterior, this design seeks to create an oasis for busy Sydney-siders. This 'oasis' will function as an escapism, where people can come to relax and rejuvenate from the hectic lifestyle of urbanised Sydney. This is done through creating a temple-like atmosphere, where the space provides a series of rituals designed to take people further and further away from reality, and into a place of pure fantasy. This method of escapism is achieved through the use of platforms, a ritual of gradually leaving the city and entering an alternate world. This same ritualistic concept can also be found in Sydney Opera House, an iconic Sydney site located at Bennelong point, establishing a historical and spatial connection between Bennelong Point and Barangaroo site.
